This course provides students with the information on current USDA guidelines.  Topics covered in this course include:  basic nutrients, portion sizes, nutritional self study analysis, researching fad diets, food planning, preparation, and healthy substitutions.  The course includes a lab component which is held on Thursdays and Fridays.  Here is to trying some new and fun dishes!
