This course will provide students with information on child care and parenting skills.  The students will identify the important changes that take place during the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children from birth through age twelve.  The students will identify strategies needed for caring for children, including the right steps in case of an emergency and identifying childhood diseases.
