Dr. Jolene Barron
I am so excited to begin teaching at Tamaqua Area High School for the 2025-2026 school year! My career started in 2000 in the Halifax Area School District, where I taught 4th grade and 5th grade. After four years in Halifax, I moved back home to Tamaqua. I have taught 3rd grade, 7th/8th grade math, elementary technology classes, and school age intervention here at Tamaqua. Although I've moved around a lot, most of my career was spent teaching 3rd grade math. As a 1992 THS graduate, I am honored to be teaching in the same school in which I was a student *many* years ago.
